sanatplace — a place for art
“Sanat” means “art” in Tajik. We bring together real paintings and the people who paint them, so that finding and buying an original is as easy as messaging a friend.
What sanatplace is
It is an online gallery and a marketplace for original paintings. Artists list their works themselves: photos, sizes, technique and price. A buyer picks a painting in the catalog and messages the artist right on the site. The site is free to use: we take no commission and are not part of the payment.
Besides the catalog, we have events and a journal: exhibitions, workshops and news about what is happening in art in Dushanbe.

Sign in with Telegram, no passwords. A painting takes a couple of minutes to add.

We check every one
Only the artist's own originals make it into the catalog: copies and reproductions are not allowed.

The buyer messages the artist
You agree on the price, delivery and details in a conversation on the site.

We are a small team from Dushanbe. We came up with and built sanatplace so that artists have a place of their own where their work is seen, and people have a simple way to buy a real painting directly from the artist.
